eClicker does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app communicates exclusively via Bluetooth Low Energy between your iPhone and the companion app on your computer. No information ever leaves your local environment.
eClicker collects no data. Specifically:
eClicker uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to send slide navigation commands from your iPhone to the companion app on your Mac or PC. This communication is local, unidirectional, and contains only two bytes per command: a command identifier and a sequence number. No personal or identifiable data is transmitted over Bluetooth.
The eClicker companion app for macOS and Windows operates identically with regard to privacy — it collects no data. It receives BLE commands locally and translates them into arrow key presses. It does not connect to the internet.
The macOS companion app requests Accessibility permission to inject keystrokes into presentation applications. This permission is used solely for keystroke injection and for no other purpose. The app does not read, record, or transmit any information about your screen, keystrokes, or applications.
eClicker does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Since eClicker collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
